Relocate the capital to Grand Bahama

Dear Editor,

I believe the government should give serious consideration to moving the capital of The Bahamas out of Nassau, New Providence to Grand Bahama.
New Providence is too overcrowded.? The island is only 21.1 miles long and 6.8 miles wide; yet it is home to 248,948 people.? That means a staggering 70 percent of The Bahamas' population lives in New Providence.
